This dog friendly pub located on the A590 and the 6/X6 bus route, overlooking the foot of Lake Windermere, is part of the Newby Bridge Hotel. Serving locally sourced food and cask ale, the bar is cosy, relaxed and friendly, with original 18th Century oak panelling and a real log fire adding to its authentic “olde worlde” charm.

It is close to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway (a 3.2-mile-long heritage railway - the Newby Bridge Halt is nearby), and the Lakeland Motor Museum.
